Which "tickets" you need depends on the work you'll do — but almost everyone starts with the same one. Here's the practical rundown.

The one everyone needs: the White Card

The White Card (General Construction Induction) is the baseline. You legally can't work on a construction site without it, whatever your trade. If you get one card, get this first.

Common role-specific tickets

• Working at Heights — for roofing, scaffolding, elevated work.
• Forklift (LF) licence — a High Risk Work Licence to operate forklifts.
• EWP ticket — for elevating work platforms (boom/scissor lifts).
